The tank ruptured at MC Tank Terminal, which contained glycidyl methacrylate, an industrial chemical used to make plastics, paints and coatings perform better. Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz lifted all remaining evacuation orders and the venting of the tank was completed late Thursday night, allowing a hazmat team to enter the site and test safety levels. About 60 patients were treated at hospitals, with most suffering minor symptoms, and all are expected to recover. The leak occurred when an employee of the company introduced a temperature level to the tank in the process of transferring liquid.
