Toledo Police has arrested Rasean Barringer, who had previously eluded them twice before, after leading them on a short chase that damaged multiple vehicles during which he crashed on I-75 and exited onto Jeep Parkway, but lost control at a roundabout and got stuck. He was apprehended with a loaded gun, cocaine and fentanyl in his possession. Barringers allegedly had cocaine andentanyl in his system.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Police arrested a man that had evaded them twice before, but not before leading them on a short chase that damaged multiple vehicles on March 27.

According to Toledo Police, officers spotted Rasean Barringer at a charging station on Alexis Rd around 3:30 p.m. Because of the previous alleged incidents, he was pulled over, but when officers approached the car he took off.

He made his way onto I-75 southbound, but struck several vehicles stopped at a crash at a bend in the highway.

Police said he then exited onto Jeep Parkway, but lost control at a roundabout and got the vehicle stuck.

Barringer attempted to flee on foot, but was later apprehended.

He allegedly had a loaded gun, as well as cocaine and fentanyl in his possession.
