Toledo man indicted for involuntary manslaughter
A Toledo man already facing charges of assault related to a fight downtown has been indicted for involuntary manslaughter. Riley Leu, a 22-year-old Toledo man, has been indicted by a Wood County grand jury for involuntary manslaughter, a first-degree felony, corruption with drugs, and trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and cocaine, both fifth-degree felonies. On April 4, he allegedly caused the death of a 50-year man after providing him with a fentanyl related compound. The victim was a former hockey player and had previously played for the Toledo Storm. A warrant has been issued for Leu's arrest. In May, he was indicted for felonious assault, a second-degree Felony. A jury trial for the assault charge is set for December 16 and a final pretrial set for Nov. 30.
