This move comes as Toledo Clerk-Treasurer Rachel Campbell, who recently began assisting Winlock city staff with financial work after former Winlock Treasurer Michelle Francis resigned, has been working extra hours due to her work in Winlock. The council also approved Ordinance 843, updating the city's sign codes. The changes allow for businesses to put up one sign outside of their location in city-owned right-of-ways, while placing them in state-owned ones is still prohibited. The City of Toledo recently received approval for a Washington state Department of Health (DOH) Drinking Water State Revolving Loan application to fund the project, which has yet to be voted on by the council.
